Margaret M. Rotunno, 94, of Hermitage, passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2024, in St. John XXIII Home.

Mrs. Rotunno was born on October 29, 1929, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne (Kusnir) Yevchak. She was a graduate of Sharon High School.

Margaret was employed at the First National Bank and former Don Reed Accounting Firm. She retired as the warehouse secretary of the former Peter J. Schmidt Company, formerly Golden Dawn Foods.

Margaret was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.

She was extremely proud of her Slovak heritage. Margaret also enjoyed crossword puzzles, cross-stitch and was an avid Raiders fan.

Her husband, Albert Rotunno, whom she married on September 22, 1951, passed away on August 26, 2017. Together, they traveled extensively, visiting many places worldwide.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony Rotunno and his wife Dianne, Raleigh, NC, and Daniel Rotunno and his wife Jeanne, Hermitage.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzane Mehalko and her husband Greg; an infant son, Richard Rotunno; and a sister, Mary Diegan.

The family would like to thank Dr. Charles D'Auria and the staff of St. John XXIII Home for the exceptional care given to their mother.
