Obituary

Margaret Ann Pacello, 87, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully with family at her side early Saturday morning, January 4, 2025, in UPMC Hamot Hospital, Erie.

Mrs. Pacello was born June 25, 1937, in Farrell, a daughter of the late Michael and Veronica (Nemis) Balluch. She attended St. Ann's Parochial School and graduated from Farrell High School in 1955.

Her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Ronald Vincent Pacello, whom she married on May 24, 1958, preceded her in death on May 20, 2014.

Following graduation, Marge worked at Book's Shoe Store and Bell Telephone. For many years, Marge and her husband, Ronald, owned and operated two Lil' Shopper Convenient Stores in Sharon, one on East State Street, and the other on Smith Avenue. She also worked at the Lil' Shopper corporate office located in Sharon. Prior to retirement, Marge worked for Jeannie Koch Ceramics, also in Sharon.

Marge was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and formerly a longtime member of St. Ann's Church, both in Farrell.

An avid bowler, she had an exceptional talent for crafting, especially ceramics.

Above all else, Marge was a dedicated wife, loving mother, devoted grandmother, and adoring great-grandmother.

She is survived by two daughters, Laurie Ann Biblis and her husband, William, Hermitage, and Sherrie Lynne Riley and her husband, Seth, Clark; four grandchildren, Nicole Faeth (Dustin), Amanda Green (Jamie), Austyn Volpe (fiancé, Kayla), and Alexys Riley (fiancé, Skylar); two great-grandsons, Vincent and William Green.

Besides her parents and husband, Marge was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Balluch.

Her kind and nurturing disposition led to many cherished friendships throughout her life. Marge's kindness knew no bounds and she would never hesitate to be there with a smile and a helping hand.

In keeping with her wishes, calling hours will be held privately.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday (1-10-25) in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell.
