Margaret Jean O'Hare, formerly of Strawbridge Ave., Sharon, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Monday (11-30-09) in White-Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville, PA. She was 62.
Margie was born February 12, 1947 in Sharon a daughter of the late Carl Raymond and Rose Elizabeth Elia O'Hare.
She was a lifelong area resident and attended St. Joseph and Sharon schools.
Margie was a special lady with a loveable personality and worked for many years at the ARC of Mercer County in Hermitage. She was a member of the Living Word Church, Hermitage, and the former Faith Assembly of God Church, Masury, Ohio, where she volunteered her time in their nursery rooms. She was also a member of the former Shepherd of Love Church, Hermitage. Margie was a member of the handicap Girl Scout troop, which was the first in Pennsylvania and organized by her mother. An avid bowler she was the recipient of many trophies during her lifetime and enjoyed painting and crafts. Margie had a love for horses and her pet cats, Jill and Elimelech. She supported many charities and will be remembered as a kind and giving individual who never spoke a harsh word about anyone. Her life exemplified love and anyone who knew her invariably loved her in return.
Surviving are: three sisters, Beth Van Luven and her husband Dale, Brookfield, Ohio; Carol Pepe and her husband Joe, Millersville, MD; and Darlene Bozzo, Hermitage; two brothers, Jim O'Hare and his wife Josie, Victoria, British Columbia; and Dennis O'Hare and his wife Cecilia, Johnson City, TN; also aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday (12-04-09) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday (12-05-09) in the funeral home with the Rev. Philip B. Roland of Sheepfold Ministries, officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
