Margaret Ann Karpinko Calleja, 93, of Sharpsville, was called home on May 14th, 2026, surrounded in love by her family and caregivers.

Marge was born on April 26, 1933, in Farrell, PA, to Demetrius and Mary (Branzovich) Karpinko. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church in Sharpsville.

Marge and her husband, Pedro Calleja, were married on May 8, 1954, and blessed with four children: Raymond, Cathy (Hillis) Tinglum, Lori (Gary) Rendick and Gary (Renee) Calleja. She dedicated her life to her family. She showed love in so many ways, home-cooked meals and baked treats, camping adventures, back porch stories and walks on summer nights. She had a beautiful smile and a tenderness that could break a fever, mend a scrape or a broken heart. Mom’s legacy of love continues in her children, grandchildren, Jacqueline Reilly, Jack Reilly, Nicholas (Melissa) Reilly, Jahn (Jessica) Tinglum, Ryan (Megan) Rendick, Mike (Megan) Rendick, Bradley (Madison) Calleja, Jarett (Jessica) Calleja, great-grandchildren, Nadia, Bella, Isaac, Silas, Rowan, Nolan, Maggie, Peter and Amelia. Also a niece, Rhonda, and a nephew, Mike (Lois).

Marge and her husband loved traveling the country in their RV, particularly to visit grandchildren. She had a passion for working in her rose and vegetable gardens and spending time in Buhl Park. She worked as a baker for the Sharon School District and was often caught giving extra cookies to the teachers and kids.

Marge was embraced in Heaven by her Lord and Savior, her husband, her son, Raymond; granddaughter, Margaret Tinglum; sisters, Pauline Rowlands and Julia Frantz; and a brother, Charlie Karpinko.

The family would like to thank the Golden Caregivers and Amedisys Hospice for their dedication and tender loving care.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Buhl Park, 715 Hazen Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
