Marci Lynn Jaskola, 56, of Union Twp. passed away with her life partner, Cecil, at her side early Saturday morning, May 4, 2024, in UPMC Shadyshide Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Marci was born August 3, 1967, in New Castle, a daughter of the late William W. and Juliann M. (Pasquierello) Jaskola. She was a lifelong resident of Union Township and graduated from Union High School in 1985.

Marci worked as the supervisor of the Goodwill store in Shenango Twp. She previously worked as a beautician at Stephanie's Salon on the Southside of New Castle for more than 25 years.

Marci was of the Catholic faith.

She always looked forward to spending time "out and about," especially trips to the fair, going to the casino, weekend car shows, and outdoor concerts. Marci was also an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Penguins fan. Above all else, she loved spending time with family and cherished the weekly Sunday dinners.

She is survived by her life partner, Cecil Clance, with whom she made her home in Union Twp.; two brothers, Michael Jaskola, of Ellwood City, and Bill Jaskola (Simone), Wantagh, NY; three nieces, Riley, Ana, and Faith Jaskola; three nephews, Wade, Nicholas, and Andrew Jaskola; and two aunts, Marie Wise and Dorothy McCormack.

In addition to her parents, Marci was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Jaskola.

Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday (5-10-24) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A memorial service will be held immediately following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Aaron Kriss, officiating.
