Madeline Elisco

Madeline Elisco, 97, of New Castle, passed away early Saturday morning, October 31, 2026, in the Avalon Care Center, New Castle.

Ms. Elisco was born August 7, 1929, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Antonio "Tony" J. Elisco, Sr. and Antoniette "Nellie" (Pasquariello) Elisco.

She was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Parish of New Castle - St. Vitus Church.

Madeline enjoyed working alongside her mother at the family-owned store, "Nellies", and later as a filing clerk in the office of her brother, Dr. Anthony J. Elisco II, in New Castle.

She enjoyed baking and, most of all, spending time surrounded by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. Anthony J. Elisco, II, and infant Anthony Elisco; and two sisters, Mary Barilla, and Ann "Dolly" Cambro.

Calling hour will be 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday (11-3-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish - St. Vitus Church, 910 S. Mercer St., New Castle, with Rev. Ben Barr, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Vitus Cemetery, Shenango Twp.
