Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday ( 5-2-16 ) for Mary "Jeannette" Paoletta Morreale, Hermitage, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday
(4-28-16) with her ten children at her bedside. She was 89.
Jeannette was born Friday, November 26, 1926 in Sharpsville, one of 11 children born to Charles and Grace Scanlon White.
A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Sharpsville High School, worked at Philadelphia Candies, and taught ceramics from her home for many years.
She was an active parishioner of Notre Dame Church in Hermitage where she taught
Sunday
school in years past, belonged to several church small groups, was a Eucharistic Minister, and led The Chaplet of Devine Mercy daily. She also belonged to the World Apostolate of Fatima, and the Blue Army.
She married Marco Anthony Paoletta on February 2, 1946; he passed away on January 10, 1985.
Her second husband, Eugene L. Morreale, whom she married on November 24, 1989, passed away on August 16, 1997.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family and the church first. Grandma Nettie, as she was known to by most, will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
She is survived by her six daughters: Jeanne Gentile (Frank), Pittsburgh; Judy Lutz, Warren, Ohio; Joyce Restivo (Rick) Ballwin Mo; Jody Zajac, Sharon; Jeri Hart, Hermitage; Jill Chacon (Cesar) Hermitage; four sons: Michael Paoletta (Arlene) Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Marc Paoletta, Jr. (Kathy), Sharon; Robert "Bobby" Paoletta (Lisa), Naples, Fl.; Christopher Paoletta (Carol), Sharon; three foster children: George Smiley (Kathy), Suzanne Smiley Hall (Lane), and Donnie Kachmar (Willa), her siblings: Kathleen Kimmel, Betty Lou Fess, Eileen (John) Puhl, Elaine (Jack) Urchek, Nancy (Bob) Scott, and Rita Smith.
She also leaves behind 32 grandchildren: Christopher, Jay, Jacob, Krista, Mia, Eli, Jessica, Samantha, Marc, Leah, Alana, Monica, Sara, Shauna, Natalie, Alicia, Bobby, Charlie, Andrew, Alison, and Jeremy; five step-grandchildren: Holly, Kelly, David, Lara, and Lisa; 41 great-grandchildren, and her two sisters-in-law: Sally and Eleanor White, and her former son-in-law James Hart.
In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her four brothers: Eugene, Patrick, Edward, and Kenneth White, her son-in-law Gary Zajac, a brother-in-law, Ray Fess, and two infant grandchildren, Aaron and Golden Koss.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
