Obituary

Lynnett E. McCormick, 59, of Sharpsville, passed away Friday morning, August 5, 2022, in her home.

Mrs. McCormick was born August 25, 1962, in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Benny and Clara (Stull) Tymchyshyn. She was a 1980 graduate of Hickory High School. She also attended Penn State University, Shenango Campus, where she studied human development.

Lynnett loved her job as a job coach at Whole Life Services, Hermitage.

She had an infectious personality. Lynn was always happy, smiling and had a laugh that would fill the room. She enjoyed visiting Chicago, where she grew up, and always said "she was her own personal tour guide." She also loved to travel or take road trips and found pleasure in showing her children and grandchildren the world.

Above all, her family was most important. She cherished her children, grandchildren and her work family. Lynnett was like a mother to everyone she came across.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew McCormick, whom she married on December 31, 2001; a daughter, Laura Lyn Murray (Sean), Greenville; a son, Cody Frazier (Ashley Bish), Sharpsville; two grandchildren, Amelia Frazier and Piper Murray; a sister, Stacy McFall (William), Lake in the Hills, IL; two brothers, Eric Tymchyshyn (Lynn), Orwigsburg, PA, and John Tymchyshyn (Jessica), Island Lake, IL; and three uncles, George Tymchyshyn, and Hank and Warren Stull.

In addition to her parents, Lynnett was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Stull; a sister, Nicole Tymchyshyn; and a brother, Michael Tymchyshyn.
