Lydia Marie Porreca, 56, of Sharon passed away due to an extended illness on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Porreca was born September 10, 1965, in Sharon, a daughter of the late John and Louise (Splitstone) Michael.  She was a graduate of Farrell High School.

Lydia worked at Daffin's Candy, Sharon, she also enjoyed driving buses for Watson's/MCAR.  Her most important job was being a caregiver to her late daughter, Amanda Louise Porreca.

Lydia enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, making her own jewelry and computer games.  Her favorites were Candy Crush and Mystery Society.  She loved being outdoors with her husband, hiking, playing disc golf and fishing.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Porreca; son, William Porreca; and two brothers; Johnny (Peg) Michael, Sharpsville and George (Elizabeth) Michael, Cottontown, TN.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
