Lucille A. Perriello, a former thirty year resident of Capital Ct., Farrell, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 89. Lucille was born April 17, 1926, in Farrell, a daughter of Peter and Angelina (Puzzinni) Iacino. She was a 1944 alumna of Farrell High School and worked at the former A & P in Sharon for six years. Following her marriage, Lucille moved to Hopewell Township, Beaver County, where she lived for more than thirty years before moving back to Farrell in 1985. A homemaker, she was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Post # 5286, Farrell; and the AARP, Shenango Valley Chapter. Lucille enjoyed volunteering at church and her monthly luncheons with the retired ladies of A & P. She also liked playing cards and belonged to several card clubs. Although she was not blessed with children of her own, she had many nieces and nephews who adored her and, in return, she made each one of them feel as if they were special. Her husband Joseph M. Perriello, whom she married September 4, 1950, passed away June 30 of this year. Surviving are: two sisters-in-law, Barbara Kozma, Sharon; and Mary Ann Perriello, Sharpsville; a brother-in-law, Howard Wilhelm, Hopewell Township, Beaver County; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Fred, John, Frank and Robert Grande and Peter and Joseph Iacino; and four sisters, Mary Mindicino, Rose Grande, Anna Nelson and Frances Raso. The family would like to thank the staff at Nugent Convalescent Home for the wonderful care and compassion they gave Lucille during her stay. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015, in Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell, with the Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor, as celebrant. Interment: St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Farrell.
