Lucille M. Bobosky of 611 Etna St. New Castle, PA, passed away at 4:26 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at her residence. She was 73.
Mrs. Bobosky was born in Johnstown, PA on February 28, 1936, a daughter of Bernard and Barbara Naylor Lynch.
She was a graduate of New Castle High School.
Lucille was a homemaker. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought joy to her life.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and attended St. Mary's Church, Mary Mother of Hope Parish.
Her husband, Thomas J. Bobosky, whom she married in December of 1961, passed away on March 4, 1980.
Survivors include: 10 children, Barbara and her husband Thomas Donegan of New Castle, PA, Sherry Bobosky of Youngstown, OH, Jo Ann Rudesill of Greensboro, NC, Thomas and his wife Lori Bobosky of New Middletown, OH, Bernadette and her husband Patrick Donegan of New Castle, PA, Nancy Bobosky of New Castle, PA, Timothy and his wife Hazel Bobosky of Pulaski, PA, Bernard Bobosky of New Castle, PA, Rachel and her husband Rolland Brumbaugh of Harrison, AR, and Suzanne Bobosky of West Middlesex, PA; a sister, Barbara Ayres of Dublin, GA; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; a daughter, Laurie Bobosky; 2 brothers, Francis and Thomas Lynch.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 111 W. Falls St. New Castle, PA 16101
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Mary Mother of Hope Parish with Rev. Victor J. Molka. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for mass.
