Louis "Speedy" Sapic, of Buchanan Manor, 73 Mercer Ave., Wheatland, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, at his residence on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was 73. He was born August 10, 1939 in Malicka Virgnmost, Yugoslavia, a son of Maxim and Ljubica Loncar Sapic and he came to this area in 1957. He worked as a laborer for Sawhill Tubular in Wheatland for several years before retiring in 1988. He attended St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Hermitage. Louis enjoyed photography and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He married the former Kay Caraway in 1969 and she preceded him in death in 2004. He is survived by a son, Louis Sapic, Jr. of Madison, OH; a daughter, Suzanne Sapic of Warren; a brother, Eli Sapic and his wife Dara of Newbury, OH; a sister, Dragica Cica and her husband Dusan of West Middlesex; and five grandchildren; Alex, Cory, Justin, Elizabeth, and Thea. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Mirko Sapic, and a sister, Kata Vignjevich. Calling Hours: Friends may call from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 in the J.
