Louis J. Rosati, 86, of Farrell, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 9, 2020, in Sharon Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Mr. Rosati was born January 22, 1934, in Sharon, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Ferrante) Rosati. He was a 1953 graduate of Farrell High School. Louis proudly enlisted in the US Army and honorably served his country during the Korean War.

Louis was a family man and devoted countless hours volunteering to coach his son's sporting teams and coaching and volunteering for the local Special Olympics. When his children were young, he looked forward to taking them to Virginia Beach, where he was stationed in the US Army. No matter what the purpose, he was always happiest when his family was together.
Louis was a diehard Notre Dame football fan and spent many weekends attending their games.
In his later years, he enjoyed taking casino bus trips and attending his high school class luncheons. He and his wife also shared many great times in the "couple's club" playing cards.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, the former Sandra Chiodo, whom he married October 10, 1959; a daughter Karen Rosati, at home; a son, Charles Rosati and his wife Bonnie, of Streetsboro, OH; three grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew and Anna Rosati; extended family, Donna Abate, Jim and Tina Liguori, Del and Kathy Donaldson, and Brian and Tracey Bucci; and many nieces, nephews that were very loving and attentive to him; and will be missed by many dear friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Joshua's Haven, 1230 Stambaugh Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
Due to the current health situation, there are no calling hours. A private Mass of Christian burial will be held privately in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell.
