Lois A. Godfrey of Hermitage, formerly of Bon Air Drive, Sharon, passed away unexpectedly at 7:46 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the intensive care unit of Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness. She was 81.
Lois was born April 19, 1935, in Sharon, a daughter of Frank C. "Cart" and Martha J. (Kitch) Flowers.
She was a lifelong area resident and a 1953 graduate of Sharon High School.
Surviving are: her husband, Keith V. "Jack" Godfrey, whom she married February 15, 1956; a daughter, Jodane "Jody" Denise Godfrey, Sharon; two sons, Jeff A. Godfrey and his wife Wendy, Transfer; and Daniel "Danny" K. Godfrey, Hermitage; a granddaughter, Tatyana "Tawney" Godfrey; two half brothers, Edward Flowers and his wife Linda, Hilliard, OH; and David Flowers, Hawthorne, CA; a niece, Susan Alderman; and a nephew, Richard Masson.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Martha Jane Masson; and her stepfather, Dan Sheehan.
