Lleveje A. Pinkston

Lleveje A. "Vert" Pinkston, 51, of New Castle, formerly of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Pinkston was born on February 20, 1975, in New Castle, a son of the late Rodney Pinkston and Yvette (Ray) Hambrick.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed spending time with friends at the Capital Grill; most of all, Lleveje enjoyed spending time with his family.  

Lleveje is survived by a daughter, T'Nae Calhoun; a son, Lavale Pinkston; two sisters, Alicia R. Johnson (Anthony) and Tracy Vaughn; eight brothers, Rodney A. Pinkston (Alecia), Richardo M. Pinkston, Reenes A. Pinkston, Anthony Clinkscales, Armaud Cooper, Jibril Pinkston, Farawn Owens, and Francis Owens; seven grandchildren, Aurbi, Veto, Kylo, Ramel, Ka'mayla, Kane, and Alaya; two special sisters, LaQuisha Bailey-Gourdine, and Samara Young; a special brother, Johnnie Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him.  

In addition to his parents, Lleveje was preceded in death by a daughter, Vajanae Pinkston; and two sons, Lleveje Pinkston, Jr., and Darius Patton.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
