Lisa Lynn Eddy, 58, of Mahoningtown passed away Monday afternoon, January 15, 2024, in UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless, PA.

Lisa was born June 24, 1965, in Columbus, GA, a daughter of Burton and Carroll (Gray) Capps, and graduated from Jordan High School (Columbus) in 1984.

She worked as a housekeeper for The Grove at New Castle.

An avid reader, Lisa also enjoyed watching scary movies and crime shows.

She is survived by her son, Christian Eddy, of Mahoningtown; a sister, Angelia Capps, of Union Twp.; a brother, Burt Capps, of Tennessee; and a nephew, D.J. Barnes, of Alabama. Lisa was affectionately known as "Bubba" to Braden McLaren, Addison McLaren-Lane, Cullen McLaren-Lane, and Ella McLaren-Lane.

In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by a sister, Tamela Barnes.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
