IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa René
Aiello
November 20, 1969 – July 27, 2025
Lisa René Aiello passed away peacefully, July 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
An educator, dancer, and animal lover, Lisa's life was full of enthusiasm, fairness, and deep respect for all forms of life. Known for her love of travel, music, and hot, sunny beaches. As an avid music lover, Lisa attended hundreds of live concerts. She studied and taught dance all her life, from ballet, jazz, and ballroom, to choreographing musicals for local schools and community groups. As an exercise instructor at the Shenango Valley YMCA since 1997, Lisa's exuberance brought together a wide-ranging group of people in friendship and active lifestyles. Lisa exemplified good humor and kindness to her family, countless friends, and current and former students.
Born November 20, 1969, Lisa graduated from Sharon High School in 1987, and from Penn State University in 1991. She retired from teaching from Farrell Elementary School in 2024, after 31 years, and was recognized by her peers as an effective and creative teacher. Lisa was an avid Farrell Steelers football fan and enjoyed attending Friday night football games with her Uncle Joe.
Lisa always shared her home with animal companions; she also opened her home to the pets of family and friends while they were on vacation. Lisa had three cats, Reesie, Twixie, and Nestly, and was comforted by the thought of her dog, Cody, and her cat, Kasia, greeting her at the Rainbow Bridge.
She is survived by four siblings, Carmen J. (Leigh) Aiello II, both of Sharpsville, Joyce (Allyn) Mosher, Breckenridge, CO, Curt (Sue) Devlin, Carnegie, PA, Stephen (Janet) Devlin, Longview, WA; and seven nieces and nephews, Lauren and Bethany Aiello, Brian, Dan, James, Aaron and Sean Devlin.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Judith (Thompson) Aiello.
In lieu of flowers, Lisa requests donating to any cancer or animal charity of your choice or consider making a donation of blood to your local Red Cross, in her honor.
