Linda L. Bross, Transfer, Pa., passed away at 9:05 p.m. on Thursday (10-6-11) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. She was 66.
Linda was born on October 27, 1944 the daughter of Frank and Louise Goeltz Stull.
She was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Farrell High School in 1962. She matriculated to the Sharon General Hospital's School of Nursing where she received her training to become a Registered Nurse.
She was employed by the Sharon Regional Health System for more than 30 years and worked in both the Intensive Care Step Down Unit, and later in the Emergency Room. She was a Certified Emergency Nurse and belonged to the Emergency Nurse's Association, and the Emergency Nurses State Council.
She was an active member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Niles, Ohio. Her husband Richard J. Bross whom she married May 14th, 1966, passed away on March 1, 2005.
Surviving are her three sons, Robert F. Bross, Transfer, Stephen J. Bross, Alabama, Joseph E. Bross and his wife Christina, Howland, OH; her two granddaughters who were the joy of her life, Kayla and Lindsey Bross, Howland,OH; her two sisters, Clara Davis and her husband Donald, Sharpsville, Karen Balawender and her husband Frank, Sharon, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Services: a funeral service will be held on Tuesday (10-11-11) at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Donald Hall, Rector of St. Luke's Church, Niles, Ohio, officiating.
