Linda Sue Black

Linda Sue Black, 70, of New Castle, passed away Monday morning, August 10, 2026, in Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Castle.

Mrs. Black was born September 20, 1955, in Knoxville, TN, a daughter of the late Walter and Geneva (Williams) Black. She was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Rimboeck (Wolfgang), and Jennifer Perrine; two sons, Daniel Black, Jr. and Eric Black, all of New Castle; a sister, Barbara Kane (Bill); a brother, Larry Black (Michele); 12 grandchildren, Nicolette, Ricky, Tyler, Charles, Ryan, Matthew, Daniel, Zander, Nicole, Kloe, Caydencelee, and Nicholas; and seven great-grandchildren, Zaevon, Zion, Scarlet, AJ, Anthony, Marzell, and Alycia.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Black, Sr., whom she married February 14, 1983; a brother, Walter Black, Jr.; and three sisters, Donna Smith, Patricia Dill, and Janie Black.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, there will be no calling hours or a service.
