Lilyan M. Kilbert, Mc- Connell Road, Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 11:10 a.m. Friday (6- 12-15) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following a brief illness. She was 87. She was born April 4, 1928, in Sharon the daughter of Fred C. and Alta M. Rice Phillips. She was raised in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School in 1946. Lilyan retired in 1986 after 21 years as a bank teller for First National Bank, having worked in both the Penn-Ohio branch in Sharon and Hermitage branch. She was a member of East Side Church (Baptist - Disciples of Christ), Sharon. Her husband, Robert D. Kilbert, whom she married Feb. 14, 1948, survives at the residence. She is also survived by a daughter, Donna Sue Kilbert, Wadworth, Ohio, and her son, Donald R. Kilbert, New Castle; and her three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Pytlarz and her husband Alexander, Herndon, Va., Rev. Brian M. Kilbert and his wife Wiebke, Midway, Pa., and Christopher M. Kilbert and his wife Nikole, St. Albans, W.Va., and her great-grandchildren, Renee Hunter, Lakyn Kilbert, and Layna Kilbert. Calling hours: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday (6-15-15) in the J.
