Lillian Viola Webb, 93, of New Castle passed away at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Golden Hill Nursing Home.

Mrs. Webb was born February 14, 1923, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Adam and Grace Robinson Boyd.

A lifelong area resident, she attended New Castle Schools.

Lillian retired from the former St. Francis Hospital where she worked as a nurse's aide for many years.

Mrs. Webb was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir.

She loved music and dancing. Lillian also enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

She was married to Milton E. Webb, and was previously married to Clarence E. Brown, Sr., both of whom preceded her in death.

Surviving are: three daughters, Phyllis Palmer, Michigan; Gladys Perkins, Butler, PA; and Barbara (Paul) Cleckley, New Castle; a son, Clarence E. Brown, Jr., Farrell, PA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands and parents, Lillian was preceded in death by a grandson, Ronald "Jamie" Palmer II, and a granddaughter, Dora Lynn Brown Sherry.
