Lillian A. Tomko, Festor Drive, Hermitage, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 4:46 a.m. Sunday (11-29-15) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 86.
She was born August 3, 1929 in Sharpsville one of eight children born to George and Lillian Butler Stull.A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Hickory High School in 1947. She later graduated from the Shenango Valley Commercial Institute, Sharon.
She was employed for sixteen years as a secretary at Sharpsville Steel Equipment Company, a division of Sharpsville Steel Fabricators, Sharpsville.
Mrs. Tomko was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon, where she belonged to their Altar Guild. She also volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program and for Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care.
Her husband Paul Tomko whom she married on June 9, 1951, passed away September 8, 1994.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Tomko, Oakmont, Pa., and a son Paul Tomko and his wife Denise, Hermitage, a brother, Owen Stull, Clark, Pa., two grandchildren, Leslie and Michael Tomko.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Eakin, Donna Sloan, and Wilma Hrisoulas, her three brothers, George, Donald, and Wayne Stull, her mother and father in law Michael and Susan Tomko.
