Leslie J. Travis III

Leslie J. Travis, III, of Hermitage, passed away Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, in Hermitage Nursing and Rehab.

Mr. Travis was born September 10, 1950, in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Leslie J. Travis, Jr. and Susanne Elizabeth (Babinchak) Travis.

A 1968 graduate of Wilson High School, Youngstown, OH, Leslie enlisted and served in the U.S. Air Force.

For many years, he worked as a roadie for several bands and performers, most notably for the Ramones.

Leslie loved horse racing and taking trips to the casino.

He is survived by his longtime fiancée, Barbara Rich, with whom he made his home in Hermitage; and a sister, Denise Haas, Champion, OH.

In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie L. D’Antonio.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
