L'ayden A.S. Thomas of Sharon passed away early Tuesday morning, Aug. 11, 2015, in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health System of injuries sustained in a fire in his home. He was 3. L'ayden was born March 22, 2012, in Farrell, a son of Terry A. Thomas and Brittany N. Smith. He was a precious little boy who brought comfort to many with his loveable hugs and always-present smile. L'ayden enjoyed playing Power Ranger, wrestling, swimming, basketball and chopping trees with his toy sword. Always happy, he started each day by saying "good morning" and considered everyone his best friend. He loved being with his older sister, dancing on the deck and running fast. L'ayden will be missed by all who knew and loved him and will forever be in their hearts. Surviving are his mother and dad; two sisters, Neenya Thomas, 5; and Avery Thomas, who was born last month; his grandparents, Raymond "Glenn" and Cindy Smith, Brookfield; April Smith, Sharon; and Irene Burns, Coitsville, Ohio; his great-grandparents, Dale and Bobbie Bika, Wheatland; John and Susan Smith, Sharon; Marilyn Thompson and David Rabold, both Coitsville; and Mary Black, Brookfield; his great-great grandmother, Anne Jones, Wheatland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Terry Alon Thomas, and three great-grandparents, Wilma Jean Thomas, Genie Thomas, and Richard Cole.
