Lawrence August Stebelsky, 82, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully under hospice care early Wednesday morning, October 16, 2024, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
Mr. Stebelsky was born November 1, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of August L. and Helen (Witkowsky) Stebelsky, and graduated from Holy Innocents, Pittsburgh, in 1960.
Larry served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard, Pittsburgh, PA.
A self-employed machinist, he owned and operated Three Rivers Industries, Inc. for over 40 years, and was a subcontractor of Azcon Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA.
Larry was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage.
During retirement, Larry and Marlene lived in Millsboro, DE, and enjoyed spending time on the water and frequenting all the local beaches. In the winter months, he and his wife, Marlene, wintered in Oahu, HI, where they made lasting friendships he truly cherished.
Since a young age, Larry had a passion for fishing and was an avid vegetable gardener who loved sharing amongst family and friends.
His wife of nearly 40 years, Marelene (Klaric) Stebelsky, whom he married on December 28, 1984, in Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, survives at home in Hermitage.
Larry is also survived by a daughter, Renee Berglund (Tobbe), San Jose, CA; a son, Larry Stebelsky, II, (Amy), Peters Twp., PA; twin sisters, Annie Scully (Mike), Pittsburgh, PA, and Karen Murphy (Bill), Fort Lauderdale, FL; three grandchildren, Lucas, Carlee, and Ashley Stebelsky; two step-daughters, Dana Meek (Cameron), Haymarket, VA, and Laura Ann Deiriggi (John), Morgantown, WV; four step-grandchildren, John and Lia Deiriggi, and twins, Joseph and Gianna Deiriggi, all of Morgantown, WV; several nieces and nephews; and his former spouse, Maryann Stebelsky, Upper St. Clair, PA.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Helen Stebelsky, his grandparents, John and Ella Stebelsky, Peter and Francis Witkowsky, and his nephew, Patrick Scully.
The family suggests memorial donations be directed to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 3325 Morefield Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, in the church, with Rev. Dennis Blauser, officiating.
Interment: Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Hermitage.
