Lawrence S. 'Larry' Rotunno, Anson Way, Sharon, passed away peacefully at 11:00 p.m. Thursday (3-22-12) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following a brief illness. He was 78.
Larry was born March 12, 1934 in Sharon the son of Peter James Rotunno and Angeline Frank Rotunno.
He attended Sharon Schools.
Larry worked in years past for the former Sharon Steel Corporation's Farrell plant.
He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church, Sharon.
He served with the United States Army and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
Larry enjoyed walking, especially at Buhl Park.
He is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (3-27-12) in the church with Rev. Henry C. Andrae, pastor as the celebrant.
Interment: St. Mary's Church, Hermitage. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
