Lawrence A. Ewing, 73 of Masury, passed away Friday evening, May 26, 2023, in Windsor House at O'Brien Memorial.

Mr. Ewing was born December 3, 1949, in Sharon, a son of the late Paul and Helen (Gursky) Ewing and was a graduate of Hickory High School.

Larry married the love of his life, Nancy A. Svirbly on October 5, 1974, and they celebrated 48 years of marriage together.

He began his career as a truck driver with Steel Trucking for almost 20 years before retiring from Sharon Coating LLC.

Larry loved to tinker.  He could be seen in his garage or working on projects around the house.  His greatest joy was being around his family, especially his grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Jeanette McIlvain (Scott), Liberty Township, OH, and Laura Harkabus (Daniel), Sharon; a brother, Paul Ewing (Sue), Niceville, FL; and three grandchildren, Vashon Ewing, Declan and Liam Harkabus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Gerald "Jerry" Ewing.
