Lauri Lynnette (Hart) George, 56, of Farrell, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

She was born June 2, 1968, in Camp Lejeune, NC, the daughter of William K. Hart, of Alabama, and Carolyn (Davidow) Simoni, of Wheatland. She was a 1986 graduate of Farrell High School.

Lauri had a great love for animals and would take in any stray that she found on her doorstep. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her two grandchildren, Danyelle and DaShawn.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Daniel George, Jr.; and two grandchildren, Danyelle and DaShawn George, all of Farrell.

Lauri was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ronald Simoni; and grandparents, Ben and Aleta Davidow, and Don and Eleanor Hart.
