Lauri Ann Anderson

Lauri Ann (Burke) Anderson, 59, of New Castle, passed away early Sunday morning, June 21, 2026, in the Grove at New Wilmington.

Ms. Anderson was born February 4, 1967, in New Castle, a daughter of the late James and Marian (Harlan) Burke, and she was a 1986 graduate of Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.

Lauri was a member of West Middlesex United Methodist Church, West Middlesex.

In 1987, she married her husband, Edward Anderson, who passed away August 31, 2016.

She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed taking walks with her son, as well as hunting, fishing, camping, and volunteering at her church.

Lauri is survived by her son, Edward Anderson, West Middlesex; brother, James Burke, West Palm Beach, FL; two sisters, Crystal Burke, West Middlesex, and Tenia Hoffman, New Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (6/25/26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

Funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Kelley Schanely, officiating.

Interment: Castleview Memorial Gardens, Neshannock Twp.
