Obituary

Laura Vaccaro, Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 11:45 p.m. Monday (12-1-08) at home in the company of her family. She was 94.
Mrs. Vaccaro was born December 10, 1913 in Cass, West Virginia a daughter of the late Joseph and Olivia (Leone) Pacifico.
A homemaker, she was a member of Evans City (PA) Church of God.
Her husband, Joseph V. Vaccaro, whom she married in 1942, passed away in 1973.
Surviving are: a daughter, Ruth Mack; and a son, Joseph Vaccaro, both of Hermitage; a granddaughter, Sherry Sepik and her husband Mark; and a grandson, Chris Mack, all of Mercer; and two great grandchildren, Shawn Haslet and Drew Sepik.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Vaccaro was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 250 Mt. Lebanon Blvd., Suite 203, Pittsburgh, PA 15234; phone # 412-572-8800.
Calling hour will be private for family members one hour prior to the service on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Private funeral service for family members will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. William Crooks, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Mercer, officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage
