Kyle A. Patton of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Thursday (5- 28-15). He was 22. Kyle was born May 25, 1993, in Sharon, a son of James P. and Jennifer (Black) (Patton) Adderholt. He was a 2012 graduate of Wilmington High School, where he was a member of the football team. He attended Lawrence County Career and Technical School where he studied computer technology. Kyle was a machine operator for Quality Bar, Inc., a manufacturing plant in Struthers, Ohio. He attended New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington, and Church of the Highlands, Birmingham, Ala. He loved animals and enjoyed dirt-bike motorcycling, working on electronics and spending time with his family, particularly his daughter and brothers. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfather, James "Jim" R. Black Sr. Surviving are: his wife, the former Elizabeth M. Tew, whom he married March 24, 2014; a daughter, Aria Patton; his mother, Jennifer Adderholt and her husband Allen, Birmingham; his father, James P. Patton and his wife Lisa, New Castle; his grandparents, Paul Patton and Mary Jane Patton, both New Castle; and Norma Black, New Wilmington; two brothers, Alex and Lucus Patton, both New Castle; and several cousins, uncles and aunts.
