Kimberly Faith Nettinger

Kimberly Faith Nettinger, 68, of Wheatland, passed away at 6:06 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Mrs. Nettinger was born on October 14, 1957, in Kittanning, PA, a daughter of the late Edward E. and Sarah E. (Conaway) Bowser. She was a 1975 graduate of East Forest High School in Marienville, PA.

For 28 years, Kimmy worked as a waitress at the former Jess’s Restaurant in Hermitage.

She loved spending the summer months at “Lani Kai” – the family camp on Lake Erie, where she made countless memories with family and friends. Kimmy had a gift for putting others’ needs before her own and cherished the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. She graciously opened her home to those who needed a meal or simply a place to stay.

Her beloved husband of 41 years, Daniel A. Nettinger, whom she married on March 16, 1985, survives at home.

Kimmy is also survived by three daughters, Sarah Storer (Tony), of Florence, KY, Shanen Ondic (Michael), of West Middlesex, and Melissa Peterson, of Pittsburgh, PA; two sons, Danny Nettinger (Holly), of Proctorville, OH, and Jesse Nettinger (Alexandra), of Vancouver, WA; two sisters, Linda Steffen and Mary Dehner, both of Marienville, PA; seven grandchildren, Brennan (Hailey) and Peyton Storer, Logan (Lacie) and Kyle Hurley and Cooper Ondic, Jon Nettinger, and Hayley and Kayla Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kimmy was preceded in death by her sister, Chrystal Kilgore, and her beloved Shitzhu, Taz.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing and private service will be held amongst family in the near future.
