Kimberly Jane Danessa-Weigel, 63, of Linesville, passed away surrounded by her family, Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Andover Skilled Nursing Home and Rehab, Andover, OH.
Kimberly was born July 18, 1962, in Sharon, a daughter of Jerry and Joyce (Shayuth) Danessa, and was a 1980 graduate of West Middlesex High School.
Upon graduating from high school, she attended classes in Kissimmee, FL, where she obtained her travel agent's license. For over 25 years, she worked for the former A. Porter Travel, Youngstown, OH. She then worked in corporate sales for Millwood Inc., Vienna, OH.
Kim was of the Christian faith, and was raised in St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon.
She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1012, Cortland, OH, and Station 3, Conneaut Lake.
On February 2, 2011, she married her husband, James "Jim" Weigel. He survives at home in Linesville, PA. Together, they owned their special place in Exuma, Bahamas, where they enjoyed many memories.
In her spare time, she enjoyed hunting with her father, watching wildlife in her backyard, and visiting her many friends. An animal lover, she was especially fond of dogs, having them in her life since an early age.
In addition to her husband, Kim is survived by her father, Jerry Danessa, New Wilmington; sister, Karla Ann Danessa, New Castle; and two stepchildren, Josh Weigel, Mayfield Heights, OH, and Jayme Weigel, Streetsboro, OH.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Danessa.
In keeping with her wishes, all services will be held privately.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
