Kevin P. "Stud" Frankovich, 65, of Brookfield, OH, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, November 14, 2025.

Mr. Frankovich was born on December 19, 1959, in Sharon, a son of the late Frank P. and Janna (Drake) Frankovich. He was a 1978 graduate of Sharpsville High School.

Kevin was a longtime member of Teamsters Local 261, New Castle, PA. Previously, he had worked as a finisher for Chavara Custom Flooring.

Kevin was instrumental in bringing the Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament to the Shenango Valley, and a proud member of the Gus Macker Hall of Fame. Proud of his heritage, Kevin was a longtime member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.

He was always looking to lend a hand to others, especially by offering to mow their lawns.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Laura (Milich) Frankovich, whom he married August 23, 2013, of Brookfield; their cherished cat, Little Punkin; and a host of in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends – all who loved him dearly. Kevin had an extremely close relationship with his Pappy, Jack Drake, and shared a special bond with his father-in-law, William E. Milich.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed to an animal advocacy organization of the donor's choosing.

In keeping with Kevin's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service; instead, please play heavy metal music and have a bowl of ice cream in his honor.
