Kent A. Billen Sr., Masury, Ohio passed away peacefully at 3:52 a.m. Saturday (9-17-11) in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh following an extended illness. He was 59.
Kent was born on August 12, 1952 in Brookfield, Ohio the son of George and Elma Rainey Billen.
He graduated from Brookfield High School.
He worked at the former Sharon Steel Corporation's Farrell Plant until it's closing in 1992. Later, Kent gained employment with Cleveland Track and Material, Inc., where he worked as an Expanded Multi Craftsman and Journeyman.
He also owned and operated the former A1 Electronics in Greenville, Pa. He belonged to St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.
An accomplished musician, he enjoyed playing the guitar and he loved to root for his Cleveland Browns.
Kent served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on July 15, 1971.
His wife the former Frances Piatek whom he married on August 14, 1982, survives at home.
He also leaves his three children, Kent A. Billen II, and Michelle BIllen, both of Masury, and Daneille Kiraly of McDonald, Oh, three grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, and Delaney Tuttle, all of McDonald, and a brother, Randall Billen of , and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Ronald Billen.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (9-21-11) at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Glenn R. Whitman pastor as celebrant. There will be a brief prayer service in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. prior to leaving for the church.

Thomas Arthur Bintrim, 56, of New Castle, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday evening at his residence.
He was born on September 30, 1954 in New Castle to Norman G. Bintrim and Barbara A. Daugherty Bintrim.
Bumbi as he was affectionately known by many was a 1972 graduate of Mohawk High School and attended Lawrence County VO-Tech for 3 years. He was last employed in the maintenance department of the Lawrence County Government Center.
Tom attended Christ Lutheran Church. In his youth he played Little League baseball and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan. He loved animals and music, particularly the Beatles.
Tom will be remembered for his kind, loving and friendly demeanor.
He is survived by his parents Norm and Barb Bintrim of Mt. Jackson. Three sisters, Denise Myers (Melvin) of Mt. Jackson, Kim Lytwak (Greg) of Jeannette, Pa and Beth Ann Roberts of Mt. Jackson. One brother Scott B. Bintrim (Leane) of Carmel, IN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and an Aunt and Uncle along with many friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents Arthur and Anne Daugherty and Norman and Effie Bintrim. A nephew William Arthur Myers; brother- in-law, Bruce Roberts.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Wednesday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, 111 W. Falls St. Service will be conducted by the Rev. Sean Walters, Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church.
