Kenneth Millard MacIntyre, 81, of New Castle, and formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 26, 2024, atHaven Convalescent Home, New Castle.

Mr. MacIntyre  was born June 16, 1943, in Chester, PA, the son of James and Kathryn Elizabeth (Moist) MacIntyre. He graduated from Chester High School in 1961 and attended Bidwell Training Center in Pittsburgh, where he studied information sciences.

Kenneth retired in 2005 from the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging where he worked as a clerk typist for 15 years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Kenneth was a life member of the VFW Post #315, New Castle, and the Disabled American Veterans Lawrence County Chapter #112. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and walking.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. After Vietnam, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp. where he served from 1967 to 1971.

Kenneth is survived by one son, Kevin Michael MacIntyre, New Castle; two brothers, John, Media PA, and James III, Essex Junction, VT,; and two stepchildren, Deanna Nase, and Jeff Nase.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Gordon MacIntyre.

Funeral service will be private.

Interment: National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
