Kelsey Briana Slocum

Kelsey Briana Slocum, 27, of Farrell, passed away Friday morning, August 28, 2026, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Kelsey was born on July 15, 1999, in Picayune, MS, a daughter of Prentiss Slocum and Tosha Larousse. She was a 2018 graduate of Keystone Charter School, Greenville.

She worked at Pizza Joe’s, McDonald’s and Walmart, all in Hermitage.

A highly talented artist, Kelsey also had a love for music. Both of which she said were good for her soul.

She is survived by her mother, Tosha Larousse and her significant other, Isaac Chapman, of Masury, OH; two brothers, Ricky and Sledgie Slocum, of Columbia, Miss.; six step-siblings, Kaylee, Kamera, Cass, Marianna, Isaac “Tike” and Isaiah Chapman; and her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Larousse, of New Orleans, LA.

Kelsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sherrie Larousse.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday (09/08/2026) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
