Keith "Beans" Durwin Robinson, 66, of Hayward, CA, passed away peacefully Friday, July 4, 2025, at El Camino Hospital, Mountain View, CA, following complications due to cancer.

Keith was born in New Castle, PA, on July 5, 1958, a son of the late Odell and Eleen B. Robinson.  He graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech in 1976.  While still living in New Castle, he worked at the Rockwell International plant.  He has lived in California for more than 40 years and since 2009, has worked for Cummins Allison Corp.

An avid sports fan, he enjoyed all sports, particularly the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers.  His true passion was baseball.  He promised himself as a little kid that he would visit every MLB stadium in the country, and sure enough, he made it to all of them except for the new Yankee Stadium in NYC, and the new ballpark in Houston, TX. As a lifelong Pirates fan, he made it a point to attend their games whenever they played in CA.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his former wife, Elizabeth Pitti, of Hayward, CA; a daughter, Katharyn Mott, sons, Lenin Garcia and Roman Mott, grandkids, Inari Mott, and Octavia and Omar Longsworth, and a godson, Joshua Aguirre, all of Hayward, CA; five sisters, Selena R. Burnett, Iris (Larry) McFall, Linda (Carl) Hilton, and Eleen "Doll' Wilson, all of New Castle, PA and Lisa (David) Wells, of Upper Marlboro, MD; four brothers, Odell (Chela) Robinson and Jack (Phyllis) Robinson, both of Alta Loma, CA, and Clint (Florence) Robinson and Stacy (Tina) Robinson, both of New Castle, PA; a host of nieces and great-nieces; nephews and great-nephews; cousins; and friends.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by four brothers: Wayne, Cecil, Lester, and Bruce Robinson.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 West Falls Street, New Castle, PA 16101.

A celebration of Keith's life will immediately follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Norman H. Hunt, pastor of Second Baptist Church, New Castle, PA, officiating.  The service will also be available via livestream at: Celebration of Keith's life Livestream.

Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, New Castle, PA.
