Keith R. Fulford of Hermitage passed away at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 65.
Mr. Fulford was born April 25, 1951, in Grove City, a son of Garfield J. and Norma (Boyer) Fulford. He was a 1969 graduate of Hickory High School, where he lettered in wrestling and football. Keith was proud to be a youth member of the Civil Air Patrol.
Keith was employed for several years at Howell Industries, Masury, OH. In his later years he was a cook at the Clark House and, most recently, an employee for the former G & K Services, Sharon.
Keith was an avid World War II history buff and enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach, as well as hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, the former Holly Petrillo, whom he married on August 12, 1983; a son, Daniel James Fulford, Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Kathryn Fulford, Hermitage; and Patricia Bonanni, Sharpsville. Keith is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews who always enjoyed his sense of humor and practical jokes. He will be dearly missed by those he loved.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a brother, James Fulford; and sister in law Karen Fulford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run, Youngstown, OH 44514.
A private memorial service is being held in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
