Kathryn A. Phillips, Hermitage, passed away at 7:19 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, in her residence. She was 64.
Mrs. Phillips was born Feb. 8, 1948, in Sharon, a daughter of James and Clara Fornelli McLaughlin.
Following her graduation from high school, Kathryn was employed at the Globe Restaurant as a Waitress and later worked at the former Packard Electric. Recently she was employed at the Community Counseling Center as an assistant counselor.
Kathryn was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Hubbard, OH. She enjoyed going to the beach and earlier in life she was a member of a Wheatland Bowling League.
Surviving are 4 children, Heidi Hiner of Burghill, OH, Mary and her husband Karl Yungbluth of Lake Placid, FL, Peter Phillips of Hubbard, OH, and Amy and her husband James Longwell of Tarpon Springs, FL; 3 sisters, Colleen, Karen, and Patricia; 2 brothers, William and Jan; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Kathryn is also survived by her companion Howard and former husband Frank Phillips.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia; 2 brothers, James and Cary.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with retired associate pastor Rev. James Johnson in St. Patrick's Church 225 Ohio 7 Hubbard, OH 44425.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
