Kathleen “Kathy” Sivulich, 70, of Hermitage, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.
Mrs. Sivulich was born on May 14, 1955, in Sharon, a daughter of the late James and Marie (Hudzinski) Scanga. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1973 graduate of Farrell High School.

She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and caring personality. She looked forward to getting together with the “Girls” at the YMCA and her classmates' monthly luncheon. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting wineries in California, playing slot machines at the casino, and doing word searches. Above all, she cherished time visiting her son and her two dogs, Chance and George.
She is survived by her husband, James ‘Jim” Sivulich, whom she married on August 30, 1986; her son, R.J. Sivulich and his partner, Dustin, of White Plains, NY; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Scanga and his wife, Kim, of Sharpsville, and Timothy Scanga, of Farrell; and three nephews.
