Obituary

Kathleen A. Kramer, Hermitage, formerly of Sharon, passed away peacefully Wednesday (5-23-12) at 6:45 p.m. surrounded by her family and friends in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, after an extended illness. She was 47.

She was born December 20, 1964 in Sharon the daughter of Edward and Teresa Brandenstein Kramer.

She graduated with honors from Sharon High School, class of 1983. She was Senior Class Vice President, a member of Student Council, and was inducted into the National Honor Society her senior year at Sharon.

She worked at Marley Accounting in Hermitage for 13 years and then at UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell as a secretary in Radiology and MRI Department until the time of her death.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus- Holy Trinity Church, Sharon. She loved the New York Yankees, Greenbay Packers, the Sharon Tigers and Garfield the Tiger Cat.

She will be sadly missed by her parents Edward and Teresa Kramer, Sharon, her four sisters, Mary Ann Rocco and her husband Frank, Hermitage, Fran Parrish and her husband Terry, Sharon, and her twin JoAnn Kamensky and her husband Michael, Erie, and Barb Morris, Sharon, two brothers, Bill Kramer, Farrell, and Mike Kramer and his wife Teresa Kramer, Willowick, Oh; two nieces, Paige and Casey Kramer, two nephews, Brandon Morris and Hunter Kamensky, and her dear friends, Doug, Roberta, and Alura Dillon, who was her goddaughter, Jill and Megan Kelly, and Jodi Herrmann, and all her friends at UPMC Shenango.

In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in her memory to please consider one of the following; the American Cancer Society, 3208 B Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa 16105; St. Judes Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105; or the Shriners Hospital for Children 1645 West 8th Street Erie, PA 16505.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 Saturday (5-26-12) in St. Stanislaus- Holy Trinity Church, Sharon, with Rev. Jeffrey J. Lucas, pastor as the celebrant. A brief prayer service will begin at 9:15 in the funeral home prior to leaving for the Church.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
