Kathleen C. D'Angelo, 78, of Farrell, passed away following a courageous 10-year battle with cancer on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. D'Angelo was born on June 24, 1945, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Eleanor (Crawford) Driscoll. She attended the former St. Joseph's Parochial Grade School and was a 1963 graduate of Sharon High School. Later, she attended nurses training at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.
She was employed by Sharon Regional Hospital and worked in the front office of Primary Health. Most recently, she worked in the office of Dr. Multari.
A devout Catholic, Kathleen was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Sharon, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Previously, she was a member of the former St. Adalbert's Church, Farrell, where she also served as a Eucharistic Minister and was in the choir.
Her husband of 52 years, Gabriel D'Angelo, Jr., whom she married on October 9, 1971, survives at home. The two of them were inseparable. They enjoyed many things together, including bowling and attending countless Farrell football and basketball games.
She also liked spending time working on word games and watching game shows. Above all, Kathleen made taking care of her family a priority and spoiling them with delicious meals and baked goods.
She is survived by her husband at home; three daughters, twins Kathleen Hepfner (Rodney, II), Butler, and Colleen D'Angelo, Farrell, and Melissa D'Angelo, Sidney, OH; two sons, James D'Angelo, Wormleysburg, OH, and Brian D'Angelo (Jennifer), New Castle; and three grandchildren, Braeden, Lindsey and Rodney, III. Also surviving are two sisters, Susanne Senko, Hermitage, and Margaret "Marge" Wolfson (Bob), Denver, CO; and two brothers, Nicholas Driscoll (Elaine), Buffalo, NY, and William Driscoll (Carol), Redmond, WA.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin Michael D'Angelo.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, in the church, with Rev. Stanley Swacha, as celebrant.
Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
