Katherine "Kay" P. Joho, Hazen Road, Sharpsville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday (5-18-12) at her residence. She was 91.
She was born May 5, 1921 in Durant City Junction (Elk County), Pennsylvania the daughter of Alexander and Sophia Musial Popow.
She graduated from Sharon High School. Kay worked for many years as a purchasing agent for the former Sharon Transformer Division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. She was active for many years with the American Business Women's Association.
A volunteer, she belonged to the Sharon General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and the Friends of the Sharon Library where she served as past treasurer.
Her husband William Joho whom she married July 5, 1952, passed away October 26, 1973.
She is survived by her sister Estelle Jimro, Sharon, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Olga Kolomjec, Ann Buynak, and Millie Pisula, and her brother, Jerry Popow.

Services: A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (5-22-12) in the Buhl Memorial Chapel in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
