Karen June Snyderwine, 58, of Sharon, passed away Monday morning, February 15, 2021, in her home.
Ms. Snyderwine was born March 2, 1961, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Robert C. and Norma Jean (Stonebraker) Snyderwine. A lifelong area resident, she was a 1979 graduate of Sharon High School. Karen also attended Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, where she studied journalism and political science.
Karen attended the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sharon.
She was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. She also loved animals and closely followed what was happening in politics.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Alice Snyderwine, of Sharon, and Diane Snyderwine, of Sharpsville; two brothers, Charles (Cheryl) Snyderwine, of Brookfield, OH, and Robert (Wendy) Snyderwine; a niece, April (JJ) Lipo; a nephew, Mike (Nicole) Snyderwine; and three great nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
