Karen (Juchnewich) Frolick, 61, of Hermitage, passed away Friday afternoon, May 2, 2025, in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a two-month long illness, surrounded by her husband, Frank Frolick, Sr., and her son, Frank Frolick, Jr.

Mrs. Frolick was born on April 16, 1964, in Sharon, a daughter of Stanley and Anna (Dinas) Juchnewich. Karen was a 1982 graduate of Hickory High School. After high school, she attended Cheenas Beauty School, Sharpsville.

She was employed at Saint John XXIII Home as a dietary cook for over 30 years.

Karen loved cooking, baking Christmas cookies, participating in chili cookoffs, which she won several trophies from, going to rock concerts, watching horror movies, traveling to Daytona Beach, and spending time with her family and friends around a campfire.

Karen married Frank Frolick on May 14, 1988.

In keeping with Karen's wishes, there will be no calling hours or a service.
