Julie A. Carnino, 151 Reno Road, Jefferson Township, slipped into her eternal reward at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday (9-22-10) with her family at her side in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh after an extended illness. She was 55.
She was born on September 6, 1955 in Sharon the daughter of Gordon L. and Eileen Nickel Urmson.
A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Hickory High School in 1973. She worked for her father at Urmson Builders for 27 years where she had been a bookkeeper and secretary, and more recently she worked for Lincare Inc., Sharon as an Insurance Facilitator.
Along with her husband she attended North Mar Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Warren.
Julie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who showed her artistic and creative ability in everything she did. She enjoyed knitting for her family and she never was intimidated by a difficult recipe. She also loved drama and took part in many local theater events. She loved working with the Kids of the Kingdom and leading the children's ministries productions.
She lived life to the fullest, and for her 50th birthday Julie took the opportunity to drive a NASCAR race car and reached a top speed of 172 miles an hour.
Her husband Randy L. Carnino whom she married on September 11, 1976 survives at home.
Also surviving is her daughter, Lauren Amy Carnino, Hermitage, Nathan Benjamin Carnino and his wife Dayna, and their two children Benjamin and Isabella, Cranberry Township, Nicholos Teman Carnino, Pittsburgh, a sister, Amy Schaller and her husband Robert, Transfer, a brother, Roger Urmson and his companion Ralph Navedo, Manhattan, NY, and her parents Gordon and Eilene Urmson of Transfer.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
