Judy Lorene Barry of 310 Rexford Dr. Apt. 3 Hermitage, formerly of Independence Ct. Sharon. Passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 7:10 p.m. in her residence. She was 72.

Ms. Barry was born in Sharon, PA on January 21, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Mary Louise Costello Barry.

She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in September of 1956. Judy went on to work as the Nursing Supervisor at UPMC Greenville Hospital. She retired on January 17, 1998.

Judy was of Catholic faith, and was involved in the Humane Society of Mercer County. She loved watching and having conversations about baseball; and made a yearly trip to watch the Pirates during Spring Training.

She is survived by, 3 cousins, Rick and his wife Penny Darr, Richard Jr. and his wife Kathy Darr, and John and his wife Brenda Darr. Judy is also survived by several cousins and close friends.

Ms. Barry was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling Hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Noble, pastor of the Church of Notre Dame.

Internment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
