Judith Ann (Meleky) Schuler of Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 2:44 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 70.
Mrs. Schuler was born February 6, 1946, the daughter of Slick Curtician and Helen Yohman Curtician.
She was a 1964 graduate of Brookfield High School.
Judi was proud that she went back to school and got her LPN license when she was 50 years old. She was employed as an LPN for different local nursing homes until her retirement in 2008.
Judi was a member of Red Hat Society.
She enjoyed chinese auctions, gambling, playing games on her tablet, browsing on Facebook, cooking, she was known for her deserts, and going on trips.
Judi was able to live out two of her dreams, visiting Hawaii and owning a convertible.
She was always trendy, youthful, sparkling and enjoyed showing off her beautiful smile.
An avid reader, her favorite authors are Jane Collins and James Paterson.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Schuler Sr., whom she married in 1998; her son, Andrew Meleky and his wife Kathryn, Warren, OH; two step daughters, Rachel Spurgen and her husband Josh, Martinsville, OH; and Tiffany Mary Steele, Struthers, OH; a step son, Larry Schuler Jr. and his wife Kim, Boardman; a step sister, Linda Scibelli and her husband Vince, Masury, OH; a step brother, David Curtician, Diamond, OH; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Frank Pushnick; her step mother, Ann Marie Curtician; her first husband, Andrew George Meleky, Sr.; and a brother, Carl Curtician.
