Obituary

Judith E. Leonard, 5955 Mayburn Barclay Road, Farmdale, Ohio, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday (3-29- 12) in her Gustavus Township home. She was 73.

She was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Phillip D. and Gladys E. Callison Leonard.

She attended Sharon High School and graduated from the former Wil-Mar Beauty School, Sharon.

Jude retired in 1996 from the Packard Electric Corp., Warren, Ohio, where she was employed as a cutter and inspector for 30 years.

She was a member of the I.U.E., Local 717. She was a member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Sharon. Jude loved dogs and throughout the years enjoyed the companionship of many. She leaves behind her dog Macie.

She is survived by: two sisters, Glendora L. Wessells and her husband Russ, Watseka, Ill.; and Karen M. Foy, Austintown, Ohio; an aunt, Rosetta Bates, Springfield, Ohio; eight nieces; five nephews; a godson, Matthew Sheets; and a stepdaughter Wendy Parker, Texas. She also leaves her very special friends, Glenn and Joann Harshman, Doris Schumaeker, Patty Parker, Mike Alberti, Alan Bensky and Roma Ramsey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie and Kenneth Leonard; and three sisters, Betty Waldron and Peggy and Carol Leonard.

Jude's family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley, Trumbull County, for all the love and care they gave to their sister and aunt and suggest memorial contributions be made to the agency at 5000 E. Market St., Warren, OH 44484.
